Great opportunity

Adelaide is one of Australia's capital cities, but not as large as cities like Sydney and Melbourne. Most of the larger companies and multinationals are based in Sydney or Melbourne.
So Adelaide gets all the life of a major Australian city without the larger business district and the crowds and more affordable. You can get from the CBD to the airport in 15mins. Good food (near wine country)
The majority of the wine produced in Australia is out of South Australia - most of them headquartered in Barossa Valley (just north of Adelaide). So if she's there for wine festivals it will be great!
I think its a great city to do a semester in
